Krissie (DiMeo) Kelly had a zest for life, embracing each day with a positive attitude, always striving to reach another goal.
She was beautiful, intelligent, a loyal friend; passionate about animals, music, physical fitness; talented in art, non-fictional writing, photography; a fan of professional tennis and a devoted Philadelphia Phillies fan.
In January of 2004, at age 36, Krissie was diagnosed with Stage III Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Over the next two years she endured extensive treatment and the grueling process of reconstructive surgery with incredible strength and courage.
In March of 2006, the cancer metastasized to her bones. Showing no mercy, it quickly ravaged her body until Krissie could no longer fight.
In July of 2008, one month after her 41st birthday, Krissie passed away.
