Breast Cancer Emotional Support Fund
Coming to terms with the emotional impact of breast cancer on your life and your relationships is a vital part of your treatment, healing process and survivorship. The Kris Kelly Foundation recognizes the value of therapy in reclaiming your personal power and improving your life. We have joined forces with a licensed social worker, therapist and breast cancer survivor to provide mental health therapy to applicants who qualify in the form of a preliminary screening followed by one or two sessions, based on the individual's needs.
As Krissie's life was nearing the end, all she wanted was to spend time with her family and friends down the shore, go to the beach, feel the sand between her toes and dip her feet in the ocean. Her wish never came true. Maybe your special wish is the same or a bed and breakfast weekend getaway or a trip to the Poconos on a lake surrounded by fall foliage.
Recipients of special wishes must be diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. Certain medical criteria must be met and is restricted to a limited region.
Special wishes will be granted as donors are found. KKF provides assistance to residents of South Jersey.
